Frequently Asked Questions and League Information As many of our members are aware, in order to further our firearms training as Law Enforcement Officers, the NCPCPL had adopted the NRA Tactical Police Competition format for it's Wednesday matches starting in the 2010 Season. In order to simplify these matches, all shooters will compete under the TPC's standards for the Patrol Division (iron-sight rifles and pump shotguns). For a complete list of rules governing these matches, please click on the below link: The North Carolina Police Combat Pistol League allows civilians to compete in the TPC match- however, these competitors will be placed in the civilian category. Law Enforcement competitors will be shooting in the Patrol Division. As such, they will be competing under the NRA TPC Patrol Division standards. If these competitors’ firearms do not meet the Patrol Division Standards, they may borrow weapons that do, or they may compete in the Civilian category. Match & Membership Fees: Membership in the league is open to all shooters, civilian and law enforcement alike. Dues are $25.00 per year. Match fees for Police Pistol Competition is as follows: $10.00 for Duty match, $7.00 for each additional match (Distinguished, Shotgun, and Rifle) for non-members and $5.00 for each additional match for members.
